Ushers "Here I Stand" Debuts at #1

After a four-year hiatus, Usher is came back strong with his new disc Here I Stand. The follow-up to 2004’s smash Confessions, just barely missed the gold mark it’s first week out.

According to the Nielsen SoundScan, Usher sold 433,000 units in his first week, making it the second highest debut of 2008 behind Mariah Carey - whose E=MC2 moved 463,000 discs. [source]
